You cannot send an open invite to everyone you know to join your MLM business. You cannot walk into a Target store and recruit. You cannot interview people on Facebook and you certainly cannot rely solely on the blog that you have put up for the MLM business.

  • Look for experience. You need to hire or sign up some experienced networkers. You cannot run an MLM business solely powered by homemakers and part-time networkers. This would not work, not today when there are so many MLM businesses. There was a time when people having nothing else to do would sign up for MLM networks and many had actually succeeded because there was no competition. They had virgin markets and tapping that was never a great challenge. Look for professional networkers and hire them. If those networkers have exposure in the type of MLM business you run, then it is an even better scenario. Now, if you don’t know where and how to find professional networkers, then you should start your MLM business from scratch as anyone starting such a business should do enough research on networking to begin with. Attend seminars, build on your existing network, reach out on LinkedIn and other sites and publish ads if needed, there are many ways to reach out to potential recruits for an MLM business.
  • Look for people with networking skills. There are always some people around us who are great talkers, have the power to convince others or at least to persuade people with compelling arguments. These are the kind of people you need. They can be of any age and their current profession doesn’t matter. However, they should be sincerely interested. You have to make them interested.
  • Always try to hire some people who have indisputable credentials. In the social media jargon, we call these people influencers. There are always some people in a neighborhood, company, a group of friends or professionals and in every industry who have a degree of authority. What they say matter and people listen.
